Lost Lake is a hidden gem in the center of Camano Island. Just south of W. Monticello Dr., which stretches east and west across Camano Island, is a small lake called Lost Lake.

There is one primary entrance on W. Monticello Dr. Lost Lake Road heads south and winds around multiple neighborhoods throughout this smaller community. There are several homes that border the tiny Lake, perfect for kayaking, row boating, birdwatching, or even fishing. Homes around lost Lake start at about $300,000 with lots still available for building.
If you’re looking for a waterfront home but are not quite sure you wanted to be on the ocean, Lost Lake might be ideal. Some of the higher-priced lots can run upwards of $400,000 and the Association also offers residents a swimming pool and clubhouse. When you’re not relaxing at the lake, you can relax poolside. The Lost Lake Property Owners Association is located towards the north end of the community on the border of the lake itself. Located on Lake Drive, this community Association boasts a beautiful swimming pool with sundeck chairs, and a clubhouse ideal for venues, entertainment, and events. Homeowner association dues are approximately $40 a month but it depends on the type of home and lot size so be sure to check with current listings below on the exact association fees.
There is a wide variety of home styles and designs to choose from and lots started about a third of an acre up to 2 acres. Some of the lots feature an additional lot, either for subdividing, building, or simply having a larger lot to yourself.
Residents are part of the Stanwood public school district and are served by the Elger Bay elementary school, the Stanwood middle school, and the Stanwood high school. The elementary school is less than a mile and a half from Lost Lake all the middle school and high school is about 8 to 9 miles but bus service is available out on Monticello Drive. There’s also a bus stop at the corner of Lost Lake Road and Monticello Drive.
The Camano Country Club is located just a few minutes east and coffee shops, restaurants, and markets are about 5 to 10 minutes from Lost Lake.
